Dispersions

Ultrachrome prints,
LCD monitors, digital broadcast antenna

Dispersions is an installation
that consists of large panoramic photographs.
A digital broadcast antenna sits in the center of the space and
feeds live imagery into monitors installed on the photographs.
With this piece, DiBlasi is interested in
the term ‘mediascape’ hints at how media occupies our landscape.
This is the idea that builds the basis for this piece. Using still and moving imagery, I want to approach this dialogue and tension between the landscape
and the imagery that saturates it.
